According to Lowe's Daily News, Hapag-Lloyd said it has not further increased freight rates in recent weeks. "We believe that the spot freight has peaked, and we will not increase the freight further." Hapag-Lloyd also emphasized, "We hope that the market will begin to calm down slowly ." He promised not to further increase the market spot freight rate in the next few months.
