Winter creeps in quietly, and the days are getting colder—this kind of weather calls for a good energy boost. Today, I’m recommending a simple energy bar that combines the nuttiness of nuts, the natural sweetness of dates, and the creaminess of peanut butter. It’s a perfect match: sweet and tangy, delicious, and guilt-free (no fear of weight gain)!
Ingredients:
250g pitted dates
120g plain peanut butter
90g almond flour
Appropriate amount of chocolate
Appropriate amount of chopped pistachios
3 tablespoons warm water
A pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
1. Put the pitted dates, 3 tablespoons of warm water, and sea salt into a blender. Blend until smooth and thick. Add a little more water if needed, depending on consistency.
2. Add the peanut butter and almond flour. Continue blending until well combined, forming a thick, moldable dough.
3. Pour the mixture into a non-stick square mold. Press firmly with a spatula and smooth the surface. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour to set, then cut into bars.
4. Melt dark chocolate (about 50g) over a double boiler. Drizzle over the energy bars and sprinkle with chopped pistachios for decoration.
On cold winter days, one bite is super satisfying—its satiety is surprisingly strong! Low in sugar, high in fiber, it’s healthy and easy on the stomach.
