Considerations About China's Response To The Global Coronavirus Disease

Through the Customs import and export data of medical products in recent years, we noticed that with the spread of the coronavirus disease globally, many countries have large gaps in antivirus products like masks and protective clothing,etc. They hope to purchase from China.

After the outbreak of coronavirus disease, Chinese government resolutely took decisive measures to promote enterprises to resume production, expand production, and convert production. The output of medical assets is rapidly increased, and the overall security situation has been greatly improved. However, there is a population of 1.4 billion in China, and its production and living places are densely packed. The supply of masks and medicines is very tight.

In order to reflect the responsibility of great powers and supporting other Countries in fighting the coronavirus disease, we have previously provided timely supports to the appealed Countries.

We always remember that some countries, international organizations, enterprises and overseas compatriots helped us sincerely in our hardest time. In the next step, we will expand cooperation and share the experience in coronavirus disease prevention and control internationally and regionally. With the overcoming of our own difficulties, we will increase the export of protective articles to relevant countries and areas especially those with severe coronavirus disease, and impart our anti-coronavirus disease measures.

The Chinese government will continue to support export companies in organizing the supply of medical supplies such as masks, and make due contributions to global coronavirus disease prevention.
