Today, I'd like to introduce to you Red Sugar Saqima. Eating just one bite will bring you three delightful surprises: the warm and lingering sweetness of the red sugar, the crispy and rich flavor of the nuts, and the refreshing sourness and sweetness of the dried fruits. These flavors are perfectly blended within the soft and golden Saqima. It is sweet but not overly so, and each bite is a feast for your taste buds! Pair it with milk or coffee to unlock the sense of ceremony for afternoon tea; make a little and keep it in the office or on the bedside table, to take care of your stomach and mood at any time.
Ingredients:
Saqima strips 200g, Raisins 20g, Dried apricots 20g,
Crushed pistachios 30g, Crushed cashew kernels 40g,
White sesame seeds 40g, Malt syrup or corn syrup 240g
Brown sugar 60g, Water 60g.
Production Methods:
1. Dice the nuts and dried fruits into small pieces, and arrange a portion at the bottom of the mold.
2. Pour water, brown sugar, and syrup into a pot and heat over low heat until boiling. Turn off the heat.
3. Immediately add ingredients such as Saqima strips into the prepared syrup, and mix rapidly until evenly distributed.
