A traditional Minnan favorite—this old-fashioned peanut soup is incredibly fragrant! Sweet, creamy, and utterly satisfying! Taro lovers, this one’s for you!!! Silky smooth and melts in your mouth. A perfect breakfast treat adored by both adults and kids.

Ingredients: Peanuts, taro, rock sugar

Instructions:

1.Soak peanuts in warm water beforehand, then remove the skins.

2.Cut taro into chunks and steam until tender.

3.Add peanuts and rock sugar to a rice cooker with water, and cook using the regular rice setting until soft and mushy.

4.Blend the steamed taro with some of the cooked peanut soup using a blender until smooth.

5.Stir the taro puree back into the peanut soup and mix well. Serve hot!
