Maersk
Maersk announced a new peak season surcharge (PSS) for Europe and East Asia from December to next year.
Suitable for frozen cargo from far East to northern and southern European countries.
The surcharge will be $1000/20 'RC, $1500/40' RC and will take effect on December 15, Taiwan PSS will take effect on January 1, 2021.
In addition, on December 1st, Maersk announced that immediate adjustments to the service network were necessary due to fluctuating market demand and operational challenges caused by the COVID-19 , including congestion in the global supply chain.
Maersk will change the scope of its services at selected Asian ports from 50 weeks.
