The General Administration of Customs has come out with 10 measures to help in the resumption of work at export-oriented firms and stabilizing trade growth, amid the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

According to reports, these measures had enlarged the supports for the resumption of production of foreign trade enterprises on the aspects of alleviating operating difficulties, accelerating the inspection and release of imported production equipment and raw materials, supporting enterprises to expand exports.At the same time, It improved the time limit of Customs clearance in order to create a better business environment for foreign trades by simplifying the processing of trade extension procedures, simplifying the verification and cancellation procedures and reducing the inspection of factories, and handling administrative penalties in a simple and quick manner.  

In addition, in order to provide targeted services for the general import and export enterprises, the Customs effectively minimized the affects of the virus on the development of foreign trade through strengthening the statistical monitoring and early warning to foreign trade.Customs paid close attention and collected the restrictive measures taken by other countries on our import and export commodities due to the virus, and strengthened the analysis, researches and timely released the warning information.
