China helps the world by exporting medical supplies

Under the impact of epidemic, many countries have to face the lack of epidemic prevention supplies：Italy asked for help from many regions; France asked people to buy masks only by doctors’ prescriptions; South Korea imposed restriction on people buying masks......In this situation,many countries have also issued a ban on the export of medical supplies while increasing the production of medical prevention materials. Some countries even intercepted epidemic supplies from other countries. Facing with this situation, Chinese enterprises helped one after another: China General Technology Group has exported more than 8 million face masks; Beijing Comper Medical Co. has sent 3,000 forehead thermometers; and BGI has exported COVID-19  test kits to more than 50 countries and regions......Medical supplies from China are highly valued for those countries in urgent need.

In the face of sudden crisis, China has made full use of the industrial base of the most complete industrial system to maximize its powerful operational capability. Since the epidemic broke out, Chinese government has neither set up trade control measures, nor has it ever issued a ban to stop exporting face masks or mask materials. Enterprises can trade in accordance to the principle of marketization. As the situation of prevention and control of the epidemic continues to improve and the production capacity of medical supplies has increased substantially, China has done its utmost to provide other countries with medical protection materials to support other countries  fighting against the epidemic. This fully shows that China has always taken practical actions of open cooperation to resist the impact of the epidemic and jointly safeguard international health and safety. No country can be left alone under the epidemic. "Unity is strength ," the Chinese public welfare organization wrote a sentence on the package of materials donated to Belgium. This sentence is not only the deep experience of the Chinese people in the process of fighting the epidemic, but also a vivid explanation of the concept to human destiny community. Opening the door to  promote international cooperation when we are facing the challenges to all human beings is the only way to overcome the virus.
