This autumn arrived earlier than usual. The temperature in October has dropped to around 10℃. The weather is cold and dry, making it perfect for eating persimmons to nourish the body. Today, I'll teach you a "great" way to enjoy them: Butter Cheese Persimmon Rolls. They're sweet, chewy, and help relieve dryness while moistening the lungs!
Ingredients:
5 dried persimmons
2 sticks of cultured butter
Appropriate amount of nuts and dried fruits
Appropriate amount of cream cheese
Steps:
1.Remove the stems from both ends of the dried persimmons and cut them open with scissors.
2.After cutting, place them on parchment paper and roll them thin with a rolling pin.
3. Add butter, nuts, dried fruits, and cheese, then roll them up and put them in the refrigerator to freeze for 30 minutes.
4. After freezing, take them out and cut them into even 2cm-thick slices. You're done!
Summary:
It tastes better after freezing. Do not let it come to room temperature before eating (otherwise it will be very greasy). It has the milky aroma of butter combined with the sweetness of persimmons, plus the crunch of nuts. It's perfect for afternoon tea, and pairs even better with a cup of black tea. Finally, remember to choose cultured butter, not regular butter!!
