Almonds are the ceiling of the nut world

I've grown more and more fond of taking almonds as a daily snack recently. They are not only crispy and delicious but also super nutritious! Today, I'd like to share with you what I consider the "nut king" - almonds. Only by eating them correctly can you make the most of them!

What is an almond:

Almonds, also known as sweet almonds or Dadam , are the seeds of the fruit of the almond tree. Different from the bitter almonds mentioned in traditional Chinese medicine, they are safe nuts that can be eaten directly.

Five benefits of eating almonds:

1. Protect the heart and lower cholesterol

Rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, which help reduce "bad cholesterol" (LDL) and protect cardiovascular health.

2. A master of controlling sugar and fat

With a low GI value and strong satiety, it is suitable for people in the fat-reducing period and those who need to control sugar.

3. Antioxidant + beauty filter function

High in vitamin E, it helps the skin resist oxidation and aging, keeping it hydrated and radiant.

4. Improve intestinal flora

Rich in dietary fiber, which helps regulate intestinal microecology and relieve constipation.

5. Supplement minerals

Contains various trace elements such as magnesium, calcium, and zinc, which can relieve fatigue and enhance immunity.

How to eat more healthily:

1. Eating raw for the most original flavor

A small handful (about 23 pieces) every day is just right as an afternoon tea snack, low in calories and satisfying.

2. Adding to breakfast bowls

Sprinkle on oatmeal, yogurt, or smoothie bowls for a crispy and layered taste.

3. Making homemade almond milk

Blend soaked almonds with water and strain to get pure, additive-free plant milk!

4. Replacing peanut butter with almond butter

Suitable for fitness enthusiasts or those with lactose intolerance. It's super fragrant when spread on bread or mixed with fruits!

Notes:

It is recommended to control daily intake at about 20-30 grams to avoid excessive calories.

Choosing original, unsalted, and sugar-free almonds is healthier.

Be careful to distinguish from "bitter almonds", which contain hydrocyanic acid and cannot be eaten raw casually!
